Toltec Builders, Inc. was incepted in 1989 with the renovation of Sears at the Villa
Linda Mall. That work expanded to structural and electro-mechanical renovations for
future theaters, various restaurants and other retail stores. That branch of our
operations continues to this day with the most recent work being the recently installed
Hot Topic store (2004) and facade renovations for JC Penny's (2005) at that same location.
Toltec Builders Inc. has a strong background in historical restoration and renovation, its principal founders coming to the company after having completed such projects as the 6,000 and 8,000 division work for the Fine Arts Museum renovation under J.R. Lavis, General Contractor and Anton Predock, Architect, and similar work for multiple additions to the famous La Fonda Hotel and many other significant downtown Santa Fe buildings. The company continued to grow, maintaining our position in the public bid market, winning jobs including public school renovation contracts and other competitive, low-bid market projects. We had also established ourselves as specialists in difficult, hard-to-complete renovations and historical projects. |
